THE CARRIAGE IS A UNIQUE HOSTEL


The Magic of The Carriage continues to attract families, the budget traveller and the curious. It is recognised as one the most enchanting hostels in Ireland by Lonely Planet, Rough Guide and Routard.

The Railway Station itself was created in 1996 using recycled railway materials to house a 150-year-old mahogany carriage, which was rebuilt by local craftsmen.
